A Breath of Snow and Ashes
by Diana Gabaldon
I listened to this one on audiobook, so it took me all of two months (plus a bit) to listen to the FIFTY-TWO HOURS it required. It was a long, long book. It was enjoyable, though. Now that I've had a few books to get used to the idea of Jamie and Claire as a couple in their 50s with grown children, it's not as jarring as it was in book 3. The story meanders, like all of Gabaldon's tomes, but there were some very compelling plotlines, particularly with Malva Christie and her family. I enjoyed the book, and I'll be continuing on to the next, though I believe I won't be listening to it on audiobook. :-)
