Until the last chapter, I only had a general idea of what the book was going to be about. A few parts of the earlier chapters were kinda interesting but the author didn't make his main point until the last couple paragraphs. However, it does raise some interesting questions about the nature of ruling power and of religion. Monsieur Sariette was an interesting character too.
