Teenage me would have loved this. Thirties me, not so much. Whiny narrator that spends the first half of the book complaining and the second half obscuring and plotting.
Additional back story and sneak peaks at parts of the book where Bella and Edward are apart are interesting. Book didn’t need to be over 800 pages. Probably a quarter that would have been fine.
