Unbalanced by Evie Black
5.0
I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review. Now that disclosure is out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff.
When I rate books with stars it’s always about how a book makes me feel. Can I picture what I’m reading as I turn every page? Can I relate to the characters as I’m reading about all their traumas or ventures? Well, I can say yes to all the above. This book took me on a rollercoaster of a ride to where I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I had to know more; I needed answers.
“I’m what the demons fear most.”-Sebastian
Sebastian is one our protagonists who’s morally gray with his actions trying to keep himself in constant balance. (Makes you wonder why the book title is, Unbalanced…doesn’t it) He fights against demons his sole mission in life until he meets a human, Lucy.
Lucy is our second protagonist, a psychiatrist who’s past is filled with nothing but pain. She dedicates herself to helping others; as someone once did for her. An event happens that brings her and Sebastian together and now everything they both though they knew has been thrown into chaos. (Maybe sexy chaos but I’m not telling
