I don't even know how to write a review for this book because it was great. I read it so slowly because I didn't want it to end. The characters are flawed yet lovable. They do their best, they get caught up in what their mother wants, they realize that they can't live in the shadows because of her.

González writes about so many complex issues in such a beautiful and nuanced way. You root for Olga and Prieto the entire time and by the end of the book you're able to breathe a sigh of relief.

I wish I could write more without wanting to give plot points away. But I'm not that strong haha

Also this cover is gorgeous.

READ IT.
