The Labyrinth of the Spirits by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

5.0

Aside from the previous book, The Cemetery of Forgotten Books was an excellent series. And this was an incredible finale, and possibly the best in the series. All of the stories that were at the forefront of the first three books were intertwined into this classic of a finale, with old favorites and new characters embarking on a more adventurous and mysterious story than the others. Part of that was that one of the fantastic new main characters, Alicia, was part of the secret police investigating the disappearance of a minister from the previous entries. The best character in the series, Fermin, returns in a very important role as well, which was great to see because he’s a delight in every scene. This series is an absolute must read.
