Listening to the audiobook, this book really freaked me out at times. That CREEEEEAK…. Literal chills. The “plot twist” while unexpected, left me slightly underwhelmed. Did not like the step dad one bit and the ending was very abrupt. Overall, I like the way this book made me feel. And that was scared, which is what it was supposed to do. So mission accomplished.
