Incredible read. My thoughts must marinate before I can say more.
Neema as a scholar, reader, student, researcher, introvert is so relatable. Cain is likeable with his desire to always make others laugh and think on his feet. Ruko is damaged, but aren't we all? Katsan holds a fiery passion for any ambition and could accomplish much. I hope to have not seen the last of her. This cast is meticulously drawn out into a world with an intricate history and power structure that in ways rings similar to our own society. As I yearn for book 2, I sincerely hope the wait is not longer than a year, but the continued story will be worth however long the writing takes.
