2.5 stars. As much as I wanted to love this book, I just couldn't. (Incidentally, my husband is a fan.) I love dystopian literature, but this one was just SO depressing.
It started out great, but then Makepeace left her home in search of...something. Then, everything about her life changed for the worse. While she was a survivor, the story was told in such a disjointed way that I had a hard time staying connected to it.
