This book is by Howard Pyle. I love the old-fashioned language he uses. It's challenging for the kids but still enjoyable. The knights he focused on were new to me. And the story of Arthur's relationship to his adopted brother Kay and his meeting and wooing of Guienevere were very different from other versions I've read or seen in movies. I kept imagining that it was the type of book Don Quixote would have read as he dreamed of becoming a knight errant.
