This was an interesting read and not quite what I was expecting. I'm glad I stumbled across it though as it was something a little different to change up the reading list.
Jonny is a two spirited Indigenous young man who has left the reserve and is trying to make a life for himself in Winnipeg. He has taken to snapchat and the internet to sell himself to voyeurs, as well as the occasional meet up for an in-person exchange.
Jonny has been called home by his Mother when his stepfather passes away, and he has to come up with some cash to make it back to the Rez while making peace with his past, himself and his current friends and relationships.
