This was the weakest out of the whole series and I really didn’t care for it.
Most of the book followed the characters being separated and doing “side quests”. Even when reunited I thought being at the farm was way drawn out and didn’t add much to the plot of stopping the king of crows. Some of the character growth felt lacking or almost went partial backwards. Such as evie continuing to cause problems that she should know better by this point.
Almost seemed like this was a long 3.5 and the first 50 pages and last 100 pages combined would have been book 4.
