99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne

After loving The Hating Game, I was 100% on board with loving this one. Unfortunately, this book and I just never clicked.
With romances, I have to like the main characters. If I don't, it makes it hard to care if they get together or not. The thing is, in my opinion, Darcy still needed to grow up some before getting Tom. Tom is an adult, yet his two best friends still read like young 20 year olds... or high schoolers. Their fights felt petty and while I don't mind siblings not liking each other, the fact that they still are friends and depend on each other felt so awkward. Seriously, Tom felt like he was stuck in between the two of them-- a toy for them to play with.
Darcy does have some good moments though and I appreciate her taking the time to try being better. Tom is an absolute gem and I swear most of the book I just felt bad for him having to deal with Darcy getting in his way.
The thing is, I did for the most part enjoy reading this book and the ending worked for me. Also that The Hating Game epilogue was GOLD.
