Release Me by K.A. Tucker

Ronan’s story starts before he meets Abbi, with his recent move to the Miami Wolf Hotel. There, he begins to move on from his ex with the help of his friend, Connor. When jobs open up at the Alaskan Wolf Hotel, the two transfer there and meet Abbi and Henry- the owner of the hotels. Release Me then shifts to after the events of the Wolf Hotel series, and Ronan’s story starts in the present. Henry offers Ronan a new position to be a director of his hotel in Mermaid Beach. While he is there, he meets Sloane, who has property neighboring the hotel. She has been in opposition of it and the changes it will bring for years. Despite being on different sides, Sloane and Ronan are attracted to each other and act on it, but what about the girls of Ronan’s past and the potential changes of her land because of the hotel? Ronan is ready to leave behind his summer camp days, but the drama still follows him. It was so nice to see Ronan’s growth and determination in the first work meeting over hires; I just hope it continues, but it seems like it’s going to be questioned with the return from his past. While you don’t have to have read the original Wolf Hotel series about Abbi and Henry, I would recommend it because you get to see more background on Connor, Belinda, and more importantly, Ronan. Like KA Tucker is known to do, the first book of this series does end on a cliffhanger, and it is most definitely filled with drama (just like Wolf Hotel).
