I liked this but I liked it less than the first book. I think the thriller plot was dragged on a bit, more things could have happened. And I kinda find it hard to believe that it was too easy for Linc to kill Waz like that considering it was his first kill if I’m not mistaken. Faye had some depth to her but we couldn’t really see her investigative skills so much. It felt surface level. I also liked their communication and I love me some no third act breakup. All in all, I did enjoy this. <\spoiler>
