This was really fun and I hope Ali continues with the paranormal romance because I feel like it fits her story telling so much better than a normal contemporary. However, I had a few issues with the story, mainly at the end when a certain main character should’ve been on their knees groveling for forgiveness and that didn’t happen. Also the subplot with Serena was kind of annoying until we actually learn what happens. It’s almost like so many things are happening in the beginning, but only start focusing in on the actual plot towards the end. This story also would’ve been so much better if it was duel POV. We get a little bit of Lowe’s thoughts at the beginning of the chapters, but the secret that Ali is hiding with not having his POV is very obvious to the reader and having a few chapters with his POV would’ve just enhanced the story so much more.
