Great Book! It's definitely a very sad book but a very nice read. In the beginning I was a little bit annoyed with the writing during the throwbacks but by the end I actually kind of liked it. I'm still not a fan but I understand the importance to the forming of the characters.
Especially on regard to the maturity of the characters -> Miles and Rachel were basically children who were forced to cope (or not do so) with something many adults wouldn't be able to live with. The writing just underlines how young and inexperience they were and how much they still had to learn. The change in the writing in the present shows that Miles is ready to move on and open himself up again he just needs to be brave enough and not feel guilty about finding happyness.

There aren't a lot of characters (which I found is quite common for Colleen Hoover books) which I really like as you can connect better with the presented characters and don't get confused with names and the typical who did/ say what again.
