The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda

2.0

Eh? Eh. This book felt pretty pedestrian and predictable—the narrator/protagonist explains way too much of what she’s doing (75% of which is unnecessary?) and way too little time realizing the very obvious nefarious circumstances surrounding her and her friend’s death.

I also (respectfully) am not a fan of Rebekkah Ross who reads the audiobook. She uses so much of that lilting questioning sort of sound where each? Word? Is? A? Question? You know the one. Given the whiteness of the story, I guess it made sense, but… I found it annoying.
