I wasn’t like most people, and I didn’t mean it in the typical I’m-not-like-other-girls way. I was different, broken and shattered, anything but whole. Who better to understand someone like the Angel Maker?
This second book of the series took a little turn. You do need to have read the first to begin this but trust me, you will still be lost. Those in Stella's life begin to see some of her cracks and through the multiple POVs, you will see how much she is truly struggling. The Angel Maker becomes a bigger character and while I did not like him for most of the book, he grows on you.
I feel for poor Stella and her men. I hope she finds her resolution in the third part of her story, but I also know she may not find her HEA and that is a-okay.
