The Circle by Dave Eggers
Did not finish book.

About 2/3rds through and this is trending towards a 2 star review. I'm incredibly frustrated with the protagonist and I have this constant, niggling feeling that the author has never actually worked in a corporation before.
Final update - yep I called it. This book was almost quite literally unbearable. The motivations and behaviors of all characters in the book were completely unbelievable nor were there any characters who were actually likable. The author takes an extreme view on transparency to the point of ridiculousness that turns this book from a page-turner to a book-hurler. Well, I would have hurled it if it wasn't on Audible.
Additionally, as I listened to this on Audible, the narrator in no way elevated the material ash is performance seemed to indicate he was reading the book for the first time and he would read something and then get to the contextual information supplied by the author and it was inconsistent with the performance.
