Unrequited by Jen Frederick

I love Jen Frederick and her Woodlands series. I've been waiting for Finn's story since Undeclared and it was well worth the wait. There has always been something about Finn that drew me to him. He's sexy, but he had something in his eyes; something going on inside his head that I wanted to know! Finn lost his father and became a little crazy with the booze and the women. He's inherited his dad's business and it's just not something he loves. One night he runs into the little sister of his ex-girlfriend from high school. Winter has had a crush on Finn since he dated her sister years ago. Finn never forgot Winter and she always had a special place in his heart. When he sees her he's instantly attracted to her and he wants her. They have one hot, steamy night and he never hears from her again. He tries to contact her, but she won't respond. She got under his skin and he wants to try to make it work with her. He doesn't just want one night with her, he wants more. Winter is attracted to him and wants him, but she's reluctant because of his past with her sister. She's still trying to take care of her and thinks that if she finds out about her and Finn she'll be upset. Finn finally gets her to agree to one week with him. Will one week with Finn convince Winter to go all in? Will secrets and lies destroy them before they even get a chance? There is a lot of heat, sweetness and angst in this one!

That I hadn't loved anyone I dated in the past probably wasn't far off the mark, but that didn't mean I wasn't capable of love. It meant I hadn't met the right girl.

"I like her already. She sounds neat."
"Yes, well, you can't ask her out. She's mine. You'll have to find your own hot tattoo artist girlfriend."

So much harder when he returned that love. Having unrequited feelings are safe. It's when you share them that shit gets real.
