5.0

childhood favourites will always get five stars regardless of how i feel after a reread but this one cradled me in the palm of its hand just to throw me on the floor, stomp on me and then pick me up gently again. the final few chapters on history and all the lives that come before us and the stories so rich and colourful that are reduced to lost memories... i feel dizzy
