calebkuma 's review for:
The Farthest Shore
by Ursula K. Le Guin
((4.5 rounded down))
the end of the earthsea trilogy.... augh!!!! this trio of books were SO! GOOD! i cannot stress enough that i am neither an avid fantasy reader nor am i into series of books. but this trilogy is so. worth. it.
for the third and "final" installation (there are other books in the series but i have heard the trilogy is the required reading lol), it wasnt my favorite. i think the first two were SO good that i had to hold this to a supremely high standard. the new characters were GREAT and i loved the overarching plot, but i think the action in the middle seemed a little all over the place. the scenery changes quickly and a little disjointedly.
all in all. so thankful i read these three books this year. will DEFO be a recommendation at the end of 2025!!!
