This book was an ooey gooey love fest. Minimal drama. No third act breakup. With delicious spice. This book did seem shorter than the first. But I don't think it worked in its favor.
The characters were cute. Our FMC is an ADHD fueled flirt. And our MMC is a broody quiet, keep to himself, goalie. Character development was mild and quick. But I still loved the characters.
All the plot points were interesting and entertaining. But the book keeps things very surface level. Nothing really dove super deep or was fleshed out a ton. Very reminiscent of a hallmark movie. But, that being said, I still enjoyed it and devoured the book.
The spice was excellent though. Really
