Age of Death by Michael J. Sullivan

4.0

Two things brought this book to a 4 star for me.
1. It seemed to plod along for a large portion of the book. The pace just seemed slow for me.
2. This book really dived into the backstory of the actual world of Elan. Which I was excited for, but really came across as more confusing than anything else. The afterword helped TREMENDOUSLY though.

Despite that, the characters continued to drive this incredible series. And it feels as though everything will be made clear in the final installment (hopefully). Mr Sullivan has never let me down, and I don’t expect it to happen in the 6th and final book.
