Fullmetal Alchemist is the story of the Alphonse and Edward Elric. After an alchemic transmutation gone wrong, Ed and Al are on a mission to get back their original bodies. This is one of my favorite anime series and I'm really enjoying finally reading the manga.

Continuing from the previous volume, we stay focused on Ed and Al's past. We learn more about their training from teacher and we finally learn more details about how they ended up in the state they are in today with Ed a dog of the military and Al trapped in a suit of armour. While visiting their former teacher Ed and Al attract some unwanted attention. This is a pretty dark story, especially considering the truths dropped in this volume, but I definitely recommend sticking around and seeing how it all plays out.
