I’m still trying to process what I just read. This was dark, which I expected, but there were one too many instances of misogyny that put me off a bit while I was reading. This was a dark, twisted depiction of Greek mythology blended with dystopian times and the author’s interpretation was interesting to me. The FMC Alexis was funny and I did overall enjoy her internal dialogue. The ending piqued my interest and I’ll probably read the next book out of sheer curiosity, but I’m not going to be rushing to read it.
