Okay where do I begin, I genuinely didn't expect this to blow my mind. The world building was clear and it made me attached to the book from the start, it had a gradual build while the story took its form and boy, was I obsessed? Yes, Completely smitten.
And Roman has my heart, both as C and Roman he had my heart. The relationship build was seamless and it tugged at my heart. Iris, was an impeccable character, she showed the grief process and the associating guilt with it. It will connect with you somehow and will make you feel that you are there with them. Every character played their part to hype the story up and I was pleased with the writing.
This story lived up to its hype. I was afraid to read it but it didn't disappoint. Did I expect the last set of twists !? Yes but not everything.I expected Forest's return but didn't expect Roman's twist.
I think I can patiently wait for the next book and I know I'll not forget what this story had. And it's a win if you ask me. If you don't like cliffhangers, wait until the next book gets published.
