I had to take a few weeks between the last book and this one because I was steadily heading towards needing rehab. I think the break helped in the sense I’m not so deep in the series it’s unhealthy but it also hurt in that I was suddenly thrown into the wild world of reverse harem after light little romcoms, in my luteal phase no less. The jarring re-entry aside, gosh darn it I’m sucked right back in. I could never have the stamina these characters have and a few times I felt tired FOR them but the bond that’s happening is too damn cute to turn my back on.
