3.5 - I LOVED this Bridgerton Netflix series. Unfortunately, as a book, it was not much more than the screenplay put on pages - at least for the first half. It’s tricky moving stories from page to screen and vice versa, because everyone compares the new format to the original. For me, I’d like book versions to give me more insights, back and side stories than a screen version. While the lovely story was the same in the book version of Queen Charlotte, it didn’t give me anything new or different to enjoy from screen.
