The Doctor's Wife by Daniel Hurst
3.25
1st book of 2025! This was a fun and twisty popcorn thriller. It's book one in a series, and I will continue reading the rest of the books.
The husband, the doctor, has a secret[or two or three or more]. The doctor believes his wife does not know the biggest secret he's keeping. The doctor's wife, in fact, knows everything, and she plans to use all of his secrets against him.
The book opens with a dead body on a beach. Next, we're taken back to before the death and all the events leading up to it.
This book is giving Frieda McFadden- not very plausible but a hell of a good time. I've also read "The Couple In The Cabin," "The New Years Party," and "The Secret Gift" from this author, and they were all really good. I'm excited to read more from him.
