The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

5.0

"If you can find someone like that, someone who you can hold and close your eyes to the world with, then you're lucky." (Page 108).

This book deserves so much more than saying it was amazing, inspiring or perhaps even just calling it a favourite. I have no words for it.

After reading it, I sat down and thought for a few moments what I had to say about it. I could say that the story is set in one-night, but also in an entire lifetime. I could say that the world is full of characters whose conversations will stick in your mind when you go about your daily business. I could say that if you ever intend to pick this book up, you should not rush through the 661 pages.

One of the things that has stuck with me is the quote above. Honesty, that was where the story started for me. That point was when I had to put the book down and just fall in love all over again with books in general.

If you ever want to feel a variety of emotions, this is the book for you. If you want to fall in love with characters (both in awe and pure hatred), this is the book for you.
