Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown

I have a lot of love for this book. I really appreciated the perspective of a lesbian Christian, because it seems so often people think those ideas are diametrically opposed. It was a delightful love story that I ate up every moment of. Jo and Mary Carlson were so cute together and I loved seeing their relationship progress. The only drawback I would say is that it felt a little longer than it needed to be? Though, honestly, I don’t know what I’d suggest trimming, so that may have just been my mindset when I was reading it.
I think this is a great YA book with some swoon-worthy romance and a lot of great things to say about the intersections of faith and queerness. There’s also a really nice depiction of a step family, which I feel like doesn’t get shown enough in YA, either. I def recommend this book!
