I have read this before but this time I listened to Carrie read it on audible. I think I would have preferred someone else reading as I know the author through her social media so it’s hard to see her as Evie.
This is a good book about sacrifice and life decisions. However, I really think she should have made a better go with Jim. I wish she hadn’t given her heart away. I wish the story would have ended that her and Jim became a blissfully happy pair. I found Jim a much better, more likeable character. But that’s just me.
