I don’t understand how you could rate this less than five stars. It’s supposed to challenge you (white readers in particular). It’s supposed to feel uncomfortable. It’s supposed to incite change. Words that crawl under your skin and stay there, in the best kind of disquieting way.

Baldwin is a master with those words.
