The Aviator's Wife
by Melanie Benjamin
Such a fascinating story. I didn't know much of the Lindbergh's story except the basics that he flew the 1927 solo flight across the Atlantic and the tragic kidnapping of Anne and Charles first baby, Charles Jr. There is SO much more to the story. I loved the author's note in the back of the book "Why do we love the Lindberghs? Because of Anne, I realized when I finishing writing [b:The Aviator's Wife|13642950|The Aviator's Wife|Melanie Benjamin|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1345153864s/13642950.jpg|19258153]. Anne - tender, courageous, resilient Anne - is the reason we all "love the Lindberghs."
