 This is such a sad story. I really enjoyed the concept of this book and the dual timelines! I was both surprised and pleased with the ending. It did take me a while to get into this book (perhaps because I listed to it on audiobook and I always struggle with audiobooks a bit) but once I did I was drawn in by the story. I should also note that the narrator for the audiobook was amazing!!
