I love Alice Walker!!!!
She writes in such an intelligent and exquisitely crafted way. I always admire writers who write something that you know must have taken a lot of thought and editing but is still so easy to read. You can’t help but love the main character of Meridian, this intensely reflective revolutionary Black woman in 1960s America. Her journey of self discovery and attempting to help her community was thought provoking, inspiring, and just a really good read. Brava, Alice Walker.
