I am loving these reversed age gaps...and 16 years! AYYYYoooo.
Okay, it's 2024 and I want to say, who gets broken up via FaceTime, but I see it and it happened to Audrey. It was a three year relationship but if it's going to happen via FaceTime, boy byyyyyeee. The result of this break up?! Her besties get her a trip to Jamaica. This is where she meets the MMC, Jax. They are both going to Jamaica as he has just graduated from college. They are having a great time but the age gap comes up, remember it's 16 years and she is a little insecure. This starts out as a trip of them just being friends, but c'mon the feelings and tension are going to happen. They part after that trip but they both had feelings for each other.
So three years later, yes THREE, they meet again, however this is in the workplace. Jax acts like he doesn't know her but that won't last. The feelings from Jamaica are still there and they can't resist it.
This was my first read and I enjoyed it. Ashley kept the story going and the spice was there!!!!! She had me taping on my Kindle for what was going to happen. I am excited to read more from her!
