Bruiser by Neal Shusterman
4.0
Well, I definitely did not open this book anticipating to finish it tonight.
4.3 stars
“What's the point of living if you're going to hate the world? Guard your heart if you have to, but don't shut it away.”
I really really loved the concept in this book, it was so unique and made me think deep about pain and emotions.
The characters were so 3 dimensional, and I was intrigued enough to keep flipping the pages. This book was super deep but also super light-hearted at the same time. This is my first Neal Shusterman book, and I was pretty pleasantly surprised.
That being said, I can't pin the nail on why I didn't die-hard love this novel, but it was an interesting and super fantastic read. Would for sure recommend!
Have a wonderful evening
