I loved The Deal, but every subsequent book in this series has been a disappointment. Maybe I am too old. These characters seemed shallow, petty, and immature, not ready for the kind of love we're told they find.

When Allie split beause Dean acted like a jerk for a few weeks while grieving the death of a close friend, I as out.
