I hate the switch between third person for every other character but then first person for Evie.. Especially when that change is made in the middle of a chapter. It would've made more sense to split each chapter up into a certain character's pov. Despite not liking how the povs were written, the constant change in pov did make it so it was harder to predict the real motivations behind the characters. I don't find many mystery books that I don't guess the ending at least halfway through, but I had a couple different theories throughout the book that ended up being wrong.
