A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

This is a story about tough family love and then a romance blooming out of traumatic events. If you keep this in mind while reading, it’s a good story. I think a lot of criticism of characters comes from people forgetting that they are through a different lens than we are used to with this group. Nesta is cold and sharp before the war, trauma makes her bitter and sulking and as that sharpness comes back yes she views people differently than Feyre expecting anything different denies us the opportunity of perspective.
