I Hear the Sunspot: Theory of Happiness by Yuki Fumino

3.0

The cast gets bigger in this sequel and it's rather interesting to read about. But I'm not really convinced by the romance yet. I know the characters work together, I want them to be together, but I thought the execution was a bit clumsy. I don't know if it's intentionnal, or if it's because of the bad commuication trope or whatever, but it doesn't seem really smooth to me. Which is sorta frustrating considering I really like the characters and I think their relationship truly does have potential. Also, somthing that bothered me a bit was how Kohei talked about Taichi, like meeting him was what made him more comfortable with his disability. I get what he meant, how when you meet the right person everything just makes sense and every hardships seem more worthwhile. But, idk, i guess I expected this manga to be more on the self-love and self-worth path, like Kohei realizing thanks to Taicha that he can enjoy life with his disability and not Taicha himslef being the reason for him to love life in spite of his disability ? I'm not sure I'm making a lot of sense, maybe I just missed the point of that part x)
