I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
5.0
dark emotional funny informative reflective sad tense fast-paced

This book is very well written and shocking. This book is very vulnerable and a deep insight on her life. She was raw, honest, and real. After reading this book, it makes me question how life is for every child actor. What she went through was torture and that fact that she thought is was normal for much of her life is so heart breaking. While reading this book my heart ached and hurt for Jennette. I'm shocked I didn't cry but from what I heard the audiobook is a tear jerker. I wish nothing best for the Jennette and I am so glad that she was able to publish this truth and speak about the horrors of her childhood and what happened after her mom died. Great read! 10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys biography's. Would recommend that you read trigger warnings! she goes into a lot of detail about a lot of triggering subjects. Especially eating disorders. She talks about them a lot and describes a few of her episodes with a lot of detail. Great Book! Will 110% be reading her debut fiction novel!!!!
