I adore Julia Armfield's writing style, it is so lyrical and beautiful and perfectly descriptive. I also think she has a great talent for writing complex relationships.
I would've enjoyed more crossover between the main characters, at times it felt like 3 separate stories as opposed to one cohesive narrative. But, as with every book of hers that I've read, I would highly recommend this (though of course avoid if you're not the biggest fan of descriptive writing).
