this was a very impactful and important read that i was not expecting when i first picked it up. it dealt with a lot of issues that i had never really had to consider. it also highlighted issues that are still ongoing in the world today, especially when it comes to indigenous populations. this was more than a wild story and should be more widespread. this book made me look at my own privilege and is one of the few instances in which a fiction book taught me a lot more about the world.
