White Night
by Jim Butcher
The story has been quite interesting (even though, that there has been a bit too little of Thomas for my tastes considering that he is a prime suspect according to the summary) and I'm so very curious about the little hints to what will come. It's a special thing that Harry's mother managed to escape Lord Raith and have Harry? This might mean that Harry will have some great power? The Cowl? Marcone being back and now having a say in everything? Also, Lash is gone? I'm not sure that I really believe that, even with the blackened coin. *rubs hands in anticipation for the next books* But, also, Anna? Mexico? *sobs*
OMG! Snarky!Harry is in his best form in this book (especially in the first half of it) and I love it.
I'm so ridiculous in love with Mouse, it's not even funny any more. The way he woke everyone up in the building when the fire broke out? Always watching out and comforting and protecting Harry? And other people? I love him so much.
Thomas? OMG! I get why he didn't talk to Harry about stuff, but I still want to shake him and ask him why he didn't talk to Harry. I'm very curious how he discovered that Justine is basically okay again and who of the two had the idea that Justine stays with Lara and gets information from her to Thomas. And, I'm so very relived when we discover how he feeds and makes money. I think it's adorable and just, *smishes him*.
Murphy! Elaine! being awesome and protecting Harry and fighting and investigating with him! \o/
Harry, the teacher. We haven't seen that much of Molly in this book and Harry teaching her, but I enjoyed reading about it, even if I'm not quite okay with Harry's teaching methods (Seriously? Threatening Molly with burning her face off? I get that you needed her to get your point, but, seriously?).
Harry and burning/destroyed buildings. XD I love how it became kind of a running joke. :)
I had so much fun reading this book (even though, sometimes it got deep and very thinky) and I'm really looking forward to the next one.
