The Ancient Magus' Bride Vol. 4 by Kore Yamazaki

5.0

Oh my goodness there were so many great parts in this volume! We finally get a bit of a glimpse into Elias' past, and while some questions are answered, I still have so many more. We also learn more about Chise's family, what it was like before the bad times, and a bit of how it came to be bad. She also ends up finishing her wand and getting closer to Elias. Now they're both teacher and student! And it's so adorable. There was the last chapter that felt a bit...unnecessary but who knows, it might come back later (as things usually do)

Also, the whole teaching you magic has become almost background noise as Chise and Elias keep getting interrupted by events and getting to know each other
