Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.

As interesting as the discussions of workers rights and class were,  the writing is just too long winded and incredibly dull. The only compelling parts were the dialogue between Margaret and Norton and the strikers. Everything else felt exceedingly monotonous. The love story was also very hard to believe in, how could Margaret and Norton end up together when they share very few values. Watch the BBC adaptation instead.
